Hello

Hi, I’m Shona — your go-to gal for turning everyday spaces into functional feel-good sanctuaries. You know that ahhh moment when you walk through the door, kick off your shoes, and feel totally at ease?

That’s the magic I love to create. Whether it's your entryway, your study, or even just a wardrobe that sparks joy (hello, favourite jumper!), I'm here to help you fall in love with your space.

My Story

The Sorted Stylist has been years in the making — shaped by hands-on experience in interior design, property styling, organising, and event coordination. After a long career in marketing and events, I followed my passion and formally studied interior design, where I discovered just how powerful thoughtful styling and organised spaces can be in improving everyday life.

I love transforming homes, but what matters most to me is helping people feel good in their spaces. I’m passionate about creating environments that are both beautiful and functional — places that feel calm, supportive, and easy to live in.

Organising and decluttering isn’t just about tidiness; it’s about making life simpler and more manageable.

Alongside styling and organising, I work within the community services sector and have had the privilege of supporting neurodiverse people and their families. This experience has strengthened my people-first approach and deepened my understanding of how individual needs shape the way a home should function.

I hold a Bachelor of Communication and a Diploma of Interior Design. I am proud to be a Professional Member of the Institute of Professional Organisers and am a qualified Mental Health First Aider and First Aid certificate holder. I am currently studying a Diploma of Community Services to further build my skills in supporting diverse community needs through practical, respectful, and person-centred solutions.

Think of me as your styling sidekick — your right-hand woman, cheerleader, and calm in the chaos — here to help you create spaces that truly work for you.

I also hold a current National Police Check and Working With Children Card.
